Slider. >The only thing that scares me here... is that

suddenly everyone is extremely bullish on goldstocks<

I'm seeing the same thing.

Intermediate Term bottoms R characterized by disbelief and skepticism, in the early going. But, there's been very little of that in the past few trading sessions.

What we're seeing instead is the same ole massive piling into long positions we've had on every ST counter trend rally YTD.

I'm continuing to trade ST setups, here and there (to pay the bills) until the various data sets I work with (sentiment being one of them) point to an important bottom.

Maybe it'll be HUI 150. Maybe 140. Perhaps even lower.

In my work, will only know when we get there, make the big turn and get the price/volume confirmation I want to see before I put a lot of this cash hoard to work.

Your volume comments apply to the overall market as well.

Light volume makes the recent rally suspect IMHO.

Slider if volume is the key to a new PM rally then so far we're off to an inauspicious start. I agree with your premise on volume.

GG, NG, GOLD, KRY, MDG, NTO all look to have anemic volume. From this seat, the pattern of last week's move in GG & NG looks a lot like the weeks of April 18 and May 2. Looks like we had our week up, now comes the week of hard down. Just don't like to see prices rising on lower volume. Both of these are particularly effected with a case of disappearing volume.

So the only question remains, does yours truly possess the kuhunas to short some of these? Or is that wild stupidity? <ggg>

150 seems to be where it is headed.
