We don't get new ideas in politics that much anymore... because the Courts have conspired with the dominant 'Republicrat' Party to eliminate the threat to their power that new/minor political parties have always represented.

The dominant powers keep the barriers to entry HIGH (by such tactics as artificially high ballot access standards, illegal bans on 'fusion voting', domination of the media, etc.) to fend off the emergence of any new parties that might threaten their hold on political power.

Here is YET ANOTHER example (from today's news) of the conivence of the courts in maintaining the barriers to entry that prop up the old, tired Parties:
