2005-5-20 19:16:06 CRIENGLISH.com
More and more young people in China are choosing to start their own businesses to make a living.

A survey of 7,000 young people by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security reveals that over 20 percent of them want to be self-employed.

The Ministry found that 75 percent of them had chosen to take the initiative and set up firms, while the others were trying it after failing to secure fixed employment.

The surveyors targeted young people aged 15 to 29 from four major cities, Liuzhou, Changsha, Tianjin and Dalian.
