Thanks. I think our House of Representatives may already be dysfunctional. Adding members is not a good idea. I'd vote to abolish the whole House before I'd agree to add more of them.

I think it's problematic making significant changes to any country's political system. A country's political system either emerges after a revolution or when it's given it's independence. Even then the "new" system emerges from a combination of it's own history and/or the dominating foreign power. The US system was no different. While we gained our independence from England through revolution there's quite a bit that's taken from the English. Our laws are based on English common law and it's roots in the Magna Carta. Parliament vs. Congress; both bi-cameral institutions.
