Nadine, it's revealing to see the environment that creates suicide bombers. It's almost understandable, in such a hopeless place, from the Palestinian point of view Man, you are such a patsy. The suicide bombers are not hopeless - they are hopeful of victory, hopeful of paradise, charged up with fanaticism. The checkpoints and walls were put up by the Israelis to defend themselves. No suicide bombers, no walls. Got it? The Palestinians could have had a good solution for themselves upteen times during the 20th century, had they ever compromised. They decided to gun for absolute victory instead, and so they created the conditions that you describe as the cause of their fight. The fanaticism, the hatred, the declarations that the Jews must all die, they did that of their own will.
