John, Sounds like his smoking was a bit too much for him. I figure that since smoking from 1 to 2 packs a day for over 40 years didn't kill me, or cause any lung problems, 6 nails a day won't kill me. BTW, my Dad that died, was not my blood father, so there is no generic history of cancer in my blood line.

I had a cousin who had his vocal cords removed due to smoking, and spoke with some artificial device that he would put at the base of his throat, but he kept smoking! In fact, he was a chain smoker. I only met him a couple of times, so maybe I only imagine I saw the smoke coming out of the hole in his throat. He was creepy.

Too bad because he knew the family genealogy, but he just creeped me out too bad. Sounded sort of like a higher-pitched Darth Vader.

All this talk about cigarettes makes me want to buy a pack! Too bad you can't buy one with just a couple of cigs in it.
