Really, care to site the law?

Be glad to...

I'm still waiting.

I wouldn't hold your breath.

That cite neither answers the specific question (the law that makes lying to start a war illegal), or the previous more general question (ground for impeachment of Bush, Cheney and perhaps others).

The law I referenced is very broad.......it takes into account lies like those perpetrated by Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney. However, no GOPer is about to enforce that law.

With the latest exposure of pre war memoranda, its clear Bush looked for any excuse to start the war and chose to present intelligence in a way that made his case.

No that isn't clear.

It may not be clear to you......it never is. But its clear to the rest of us.

Even if it was that isn't the same as lying. If you believe something is true and you look for the intelligence that supports it and ignore the rest that doesn't amount to lying, even if your belief turns out to be incorrect.

The intelligence told them that it was not likely that Saddam had WMDs. The UN weapons inspectors were trying to ascertain whether the intelligence was correct or not when Bush told them to get out of the country because he were getting ready to attack. Mr. Bush was way to eager to go to war.......that in and of itself makes him suspect......again, not to you but to the rest of us.

And just for the record......I believe in kharma and whether Bush gets inpeached or not, there will be a payback for what he has done.

If you were not ruled by partisan politics, you would also recognize that Iraq is a disaster.

I think your ruled by partisan politics, but the issue of Iraq being a disaster or not being a disaster isn't relevant to the ground for impeachment. If Iraq was as big of disaster for the US as the 3rd Punic war was for Carthage, that still wouldn't mean that Bush lied, or that if he did that a lie not under oath would be an impeachable offense.

As I said, we will never know. However, there will be a payback.
