It is futile to wish for Dem (or for that matter Rep) majority in order to have good government. Decency will come to Congress when its members feel more responsibility to the people than to various interest groups. And this cannot happen so long as lobbyists are allowed to buy the best politicians money can buy. Anyone who wants to bring about lasting change should stop pushing their party line and instead focus on disallowing non-human (i.e. corporate, lobby, union, etc) contributions. ST
