Does it matter what you use to wash hands?

Thanks for the thoughtful reply Henry, but apparently my question was misunderstood. Most of us know how to limit flu exposure. The question is, when I get it, what do I do to increase the chance of making it through, assuming Tamilflu is not handy? That is the practical position most folk will be in.

Mom's solution of drinking CHICKEN SOUP sounds like a poor choice for the coming problem. :)

I suppose keeping the lungs as clear as possible with expectorant will help if the #1 problem is pneumonia. What else? You are the biochemist.
