Post holocaust probably is what transformed europes jews into just jews looking to get to american, israel while just hanging together regardless of the old ethnicity. It doesnt matter to jews anymore where their ancestors came from or which dna is intermingled with their own. Jews share common history so it become an almost inside out ethnicity that has become a reality with israel. Mike

Under what grounds do you presume to tell the Jews that they have "confused" their religion with an ethnicity? or that even thought they call themselves an ethnic group - the People of Israel, Am Yisrael, and have done so for over three thousand years, you know better? That takes some kinda brass, I must say. Jews have always considered themselves related to other Jews, and modern DNA studies are bearing this out - the Jews of Europe and the Middle East both show the Middle Eastern haplotite (sp?) groups.
