So what you and Jeff are saying is that Tiger costs $129.00 but that it comes incomplete and doesn't work correctly until you buy DiskWarrior too at $79? ($99 at the Apple online store).

So Tiger really costs between $200 and $228.00 and after you install it you have to fix it by upgrading it, then running DiskWarrior to fix it then running the utility app to fix it again then fixing Safari by clearing the cache and making the cache zero.

That should impress potential Windows users. Do they include directions or did Apple decide this should all be self evident?

And this is supposed to be Apples famous usability advantage, eh?

So far from reports I don't see much use in spending $200 to upgrade Panther. I will be back though if I get some compelling feedback that leads me to install it.
