I meant eliminating the cap on income subjected to the SS tax. I think the present cap is $90,000. It should have been apparent from the context. Perhaps it was not.

Removing the cap won't do a lick of good unless you stop paying the upper earners for the increase when they retire. Which really exposes SS as a welfare program.

Try selling that.
