" they are much more interested in controlling Mecca than Manhattan. " we should have known that based on their campaign in Egypt- they want to control the ME, at least as their first goal (not that I think they can accomplish it). 9/11 was just a PR blitz for their objectives in the ME (imo).

how we tolerate multiple WTC death levels routinely due to equally preventable negligence and aggression - drunk driving and handguns were the top two I found. I guess that depends on what you mean by tolerate. There are active campaigns against drunk driving along with many arrests for driving drunk, even for people who don't hurt anyone. Similarly handgun murder isn't exactly accepted. You can get a long prison term or you can be executed for killing someone with a handgun or by another method. OTOH - If you mean that we don't go totally balistic about these things on a regular basis I suppose that could be considered in some way to be tolerating them. Tim
