Tim, you're tossing out the whole concept of absolute vs relative. If a people in a single or dependent cultures have contradictory ideas of what values are absolute, then we have war. If they are willing to tolerate each other's values, then the values can't be absolute. If one can prove his value is absolute, that obviates the contradictory opinions so it's a non-issue.

No, it doesn't make it false, only inoperable as an absolute.
