True. But the trick is to figure out what you average load is on a run, and adjust your seats for percentage more that you think you would fill if you could attract more passengers.

The days of "cattlecall" airlines are over on long flights. You can get away with it on flights under two hours, but over that people will choose more room if it is available at the same price.
