Ted, So that's what you think ails the French over the EU Constitution?

The left doesn't like it because it will jeopardize their socialist state. The right doesn't like it because of national sovereignty concerns.

I know that's an oversimplification, but it seems the French is looking out for #1.

That they could not convince the other members to legalize FRENCH and French only as the EU language of choice.
