You're right. I have no evidence for it. There was no evidence until it happened that they would riot over a report that there would be a report of mistreatment of the Koran.

I don't understand how you can't see the difference between a cross on a person or a grave and a cross used as the sole symbol for a war memorial. The former attaches to persons and the latter attaches to the war effort. Now, I don't know what's going to set them off but I do see the potential in that. It was just a fluke that that lacrosse player picked up on the Newsweek article. What's to say he or someone else wouldn't do the same thing with an article on the war memorial? Not that it's likely, only that a cross as a symbol for war gives them the material for another fluke.
