Not all of the prisoners who have drifted through Guantanamo or Abu Ghraib or the other prisons we keep for detainees are Al Qaida members, or are even involved against the U.S. Some of them, including some who have died from our torture, are innocent people who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Unless, of course, you think all Muslims are guilty by association or some such thing, which is not really that strange a belief system from what I've been reading and hearing on talk radio. Although I personally find it quite alarming.
