I shudder to say this, but I wonder, could it be possible the Scott made this acquisition purely to make SUNW less desirable as an acquisition candidate himself? jdn

who are you kidding? are you saying they aren't capable of making an error with their cash? this management is about as inept as one can be UNLess of course there happens to be an INTERNUT craze going on. then they look like geniuses. this is a DUMB move albeit one they had to make. I always stated that Scott painted sun micro into a corner leaving no easy way out.
