Check my post again. I didn't say Muslim. I said Middle Easterner. There is an undisputed culture of violence there. Even the Arab newspapers and Al Jazeera debate about this culture of violence and its impact on Arab culture. They themselves don't deny it. Why do you? As far as sleeping giants, the U.S. was the sleeping giant. The Muslim extremists were already at war with us and we just didn't notice it. We notice it now, though, and are tackling it head on. As far as ME people being inherently violent, I don't think they are any less human than us. However, I do believe that if you grow up with hate propaganda pumped into your brain night and day by everyone you admire, then you will grow up to hate as well. Look at the culture of slavery in the South. They weren't bad people on the whole, but they were just raised to believe slavery was natural. Same thing in the ME. They believe suicide bombing is part of their religion and that violence is the primary means to an end, because that is what they are taught day and night. Those are the plain, unadulterated facts. I think we agree a bit on this, but you don't seem to be acknowledging that.
