True - but do we accomplish anything arguing alternative visions of utopia? I suppose it's an amusing pasttime, and I certainly won't get in the way of folks who want to do that here. If people and government didn't do bad and self-serving things, politics would work much better. Reinventing government and starting over with a drastically smaller model is probably a good idea. Seems self-evident to me. Unlikely too, but that's just my cynicism. I think the thread is working very well. Perhaps I should take a step back and just let it flow since I have made my point about practical vs. theoretical.
