total ad budget for US is close to 300 billion yearly with only 9 billion total consumed by internet

obviously a huge amount of advertising will never come to the Internet, as long as we have in-store promotions, billboards, newspapers, magazines, direct mail, radio, and television. so, throwing out that "300 billion" number like it is meaningful is not very persuasive--as i recall you used to gush about the "trillion-dollar market" for B2B cos back before they tanked.
also obviously, a huge amount of advertising has ALREADY gone to the internet, and that would be the low-hanging fruit which presumably affords better margins. the extent to which GOOG can easily capture share in overseas markets is open to question. and it's not like they haven't already started. GOOG is already using sponsored links in the active Asian markets of Korea and Japan. here we see sponsored sites for keyword "semiconductor" in

Korean: google.co.kr

Japanese: google.co.jp

and US:
google.com

Re: It might even go to 1500.

According to my calculations, that is a $417 BILLION Market cap.

Almost half a TRILLION dollars.

That is bigger than MSFT.

Bigger than INTC.

Bigger than AMAT.

Heck, bigger than ALL 3 COMBINED!

Whatever you are drinking, please pass it on down.
