LOL. Do you remember Babylon? Do you remember the Egyptians forcibly turning the Jews into slaves and making them live in Egypt? Do you remember Moses leading them back home?

Ok, you said the Jews and Palestinians had always been at war, which I interpreted as constant warfare for the past 2000+ years. I guess if you go back MORE than 2000 years you can find something, but I wasn't aware of much Jewish-Palestinian conflict from the time of Christ to 1930, so I wouldn't say they have "always" been at war.

That never happened.

>Did the world start for the Jews when Herzl created political Zionism? Did it start at the Balfur declaration. I think not. The Jews are an ancient people, as are the Arabs, and there have been other wars before the modern age.

The Jews have been hoping to go back to Palestine for thousands of years... there were arguments over those thousands of years over how they'd get there -- would it be through traveling on their own or through a Messiah giving them the land? There was certainly no rush until the 1800s.

Ironically, as far as I've heard, the push for the Jews to have a nation-state was started like 50 years before Herzl, by Christians in Europe, half of whom just figured that with the rise of the modern nation state in Europe it would make sense that the Jews would have a state, and the other half of whom just wanted a way to get the Jews out of their own countries... how much of that is true, I don't know, but it's certainly interesting.
