I had a brother in the Navy on an aircraft carrier off of Japan and another in the Marines on a troop carrier off of Japan during WWII. Had it not been for the nuclear bomb, perhaps I would have lost them both along with probably MILLIONS of Japanese citizen/soldiers and perhaps another million American and allied troops invading Japan. So, in that particular case THE BOMB did more good then harm.
Eventually THE WORLD agreed we needed it stop nuclear bomb development, limiting initially to those who already had it, and ultimately eliminating THE BOMB entirely. Thus today, it isnt JUST America that says NO, its the UN. jdn
