Yes I think you are right, the rates are staggering.

Unfortunately, because of the lies perpetuated by the CDC, and Yale, and the collusion of other silent researchers who knew the truth but could not/would not fight the powers that be, or lose their own status, and because of the further collusion of managed care/insurance companies (do not want to pay $50,000 for IV antibiotics for a year), and because of the persistent nature of the infections (may require periodic retreatment for life, as its relapsing/remitting), and because unfortunately the folk who live in these beautiful places do not want to face the dark truth, which would first and foremost require moving immediately to a safer place, away from family, friends, and natural beauty...all this conspires to mean that what is essentially a great pandemic causing all kinds of illness is ignored and downplayed.

I nickname it Tuskagee #2--its a Tusakgee experiment foisted on the middle and upper middle class of America. (Tuskagee was where they gave syphilis to black men in jail without their permission). Its more recalcitrant than syphilis, though. Much harder to treat.

And the area in CT where I was bit, a 2002 study shows that the coinfection babesia is epidemic there since the late 1990's. Its as widespread as lyme. It showed up there in the mid 80's in blood samples (saved from Yale since the 1960's) and became epidemic by the late 90's.

It was always epidemic on Martha's Vineyard.
JFK may have had it, if you look at his health history. It fits. And Caroline Kennedy has rheumatoid arthritis. That also fits.
