Because of the bulls here and the SI Sentiment readings, I'm starting to look into Ampex.

I'll probably have more questions. But looking at the company's carelessness, I don't like what I see.

[1]: are the license agreements permanent, or dependent on no final determination of invalidity, in the Kodak case, for example?

[2]: Why would the 2005 Proxy Statement state (page 13):

Capital Gains Tax Rate. Long-term capital gain generally is taxed at a maximum rate of 20%, rather than the 39.35% maximum tax rate applicable to ordinary income.

The LT capital gains rate changed 5/6/2003.

I misspoke earlier. The licensees don't purchase use of all their patents. Just those in a specific group or "basket".

The very recently awarded ITG patent is according to information from the meeting, also in the basket.

The long term risks of this stock mainly reside in the appeals court. Good luck with your decisions.
