Hillary Clinton may have a lot of baggage but she is one smart cookie and she will run a professional campaign. If the Republicans want to beat her they will have to put up someone top notch, with a staff to equal Rove and Hughes.

"What a joke that is. OTOH, next to dean she is. LOL."

Even at their most left, the clinton were never the kind of leftists now represented by dean, moore, krugman etc. Clinton may have been blind to some of the threats and not a particularly great commander in chief but no one ever doubted his patriotism. The dean/moore/franken/move-on brigade courts these folks actively. Clinton was all about NDC and with the exception of HC and a liberal view of tolerance for gays, they mostly were centrist.
