"... or relocate troops from europe and SK."

Sounds good to me. The sooner/faster, the better.

Medal of Honor winner

The Medal of Honor is a badge of courage awarded for magnificent battlefield heroism.

It has been awarded to uneducated Privates and well educated Generals.

I have known and worked with six Medal Of Honor recipients. All are truly great men.

I believe everyone of them will agree that battlefield heroism does not automatically infer political or strategic wisdom.

Mike, let's go back to my basic premise...sorry I got you sidetracked with the rant...

The facts are that we cannot will the Iraqi Congress to do the right thing, just as our own forefathers were imbued with the responsibility to do the right thing. IMHO, that "right thing" has only one definition: The right thing results in the country existing in the future as a sovereign entity.

Please, the impatience of American is borne of the 30-minute solution controlled by the TV time slot. We are a selfish and self-centered people being educated by a carping and self-centered elite academy and press.

Let the Iraqi people set their own course. Our purpose now is to protect and train them to the best of our ability to preclude continued destabilization from Iran and Syria. Now is not the time to give up, regardless of who you are, Private or private citizen. Americans did not get to where we are by turning back at every defile.

Do not forget where we came from and who brought us here. God did not design man to be fearful and carping, hiding in a cave. We can chose to be contributors or detractors, the choice is ours.
