Amnesty International is certainly not responsible for the actions of the people in question, but calling Gitmo a "gulag" is an insult to any prisoner who was ever held in one behind barbed wire and starved to death. It is not intellectually honest, and only serves as hyperbole to foment those who already loathe George Bush. Until Amnesty changes their tune, I am no longer a member even though the stickers remain on my car. I love standing up for oppressed people everywhere and will always do so, but the people at Gitmo are not oppressed. Again, let's be honest.
