Can't think of any reason any president wouldn't want this to happen as it does nothing but improve our economy, reduce our trade deficit, improve our environment, and make everyone happy, happy, happy. Today I watched a woman maneuver a brand new GM land barge on wheels into a "compact" space in California with two bumper stickers on the back of her Yukon. "My son is a Marine" "Support Our Troops." I can't think of anything Kerry can do about our oil consumption except cause artificial shortages or $5/gallon federal gas taxes. Too bad no one can accomplish that and keep our economy in the growth mode. Gotta keep those soccer moms in those fake Hummers.
