re: Am not in favor of the socialistic approaches in Europe, namely because it has slowed their corporations down. So I prefer Israel's approach. Israel is a very competitive country yet family (and friends) are important, they have a creative corporate approach to the problem that doesn't drag the system down. Does that mean you wouldn't support government provided day care? It's pretty standard across Europe... and I was thinking about it as a proposed header issue. But I couldn't figure a creative way to pay for it. It would certainly be very helpful to the "middle class and those aspiring to the middle class". John
