They were properly euthanized most probably, but why comply with all those environmental laws for proper biohazard disposal? Just throw'em in a public dumpster.

A PETA spokesperson told WAVY News 10 that the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has a long-standing relationship with shelters to euthanize pets that the shelters feel are no longer adoptable, and the spokesperson is confident the animal cruelty charges will be dropped.

So the official PETA policy is to kill pets that nobody wants? That's ethical treatment?

If they really care about animals, IMO they should open and finance homes for unwanted animals where they can be treated humanely and kindly, the way there are "retimement homes" for racehorses, rather than just killing them.

No, I wouldn't kill a thousand dogs to save my child. I find that morally repugnant, and cannot imagine a scenario where that would be my dilemma. I would choose my child over a dog if I only had time to push one of them out of the way of an oncoming truck or rescue one of them from a fire, however.

The PETA thing is extremely strange and disturbing. I will be following the investigation closely
