Good post and you are right. We learn from each other and each of us has differnent experiences. My mom always warned me about the stock market because of her depression experiences. She is a died in the wool FDR person with a very strong anti-business bent. She warned me about the markets as i was making money in the 90s. I ignored her advice and got nailed in the 2000 crash. So i learned something from her. I also learn from you and the intelligent although honery folks who served in the military who are on this thread. Problem with some of these guys is that they are unwilling to hear and learn from the experiences of others. UW told me in a PM once that we would have won the war by 1968 if LBJ understood Tet better. MY anti war friends both former military folks and opponents tell me that is absurd. If you read all the books on that war you will find a clear majority that would disagree with UW and agree with my anti war military folks. It is what makes horse racing. mike
