The Bush response seems to be like the lyrics to that old song:
"How could you believe me ...when you know I've been a liar all my life?"

The WH seems to not care but Bush expected an EASY win in Iraq to be the stepping off point for his domestic agenda: killing the middle class.

The Republicans in the House are dissing him with the UN bill today. Odd but true.

The Republicans in Congress dissed him on stemcells.

Even Republican Congressman Freedom-Fries is stelling Bush to get the heck out of Iraq.

Only 25% of the country supports Bush's Kill-SS plan.

Only 41% approve of the job he's doing.

The vast majority of people think the country's going in the wrong direction.

He did manage to whack individuals with medical problems in the bankruptcy bill and get really freaky judges on the appellate courts but that was before the DSM really got rolling.

The words: COVERUP and IMPEACHMENT are being bandied about on a regular basis as are CHAOS, VIETNAM and CIVIL WAR.

No matter how tightly the reins are held in the WH, there has to be some chair-throwing and screaming going on. There's something a-brewin' because George is gonna 'focus' on something or other.
