oh right...

like a senator making a speech in the well is 'under the radar' as kholt would like to think

here's a clue:

we are in the midst of a hot war

our enemies monitor the statements that come out of washington and use to their advantage whatever precious pearls are cast their way

of course if you want to pretend that pro terrorist forces would ignore that little gem from the esteemed senator comparing our treatment of detainees in gitmo to the concentration camps, gulags or killing fields of pol pot... be my guest

They probably never would have heard about Durbin's remarks if the vast right wing attack machine not made it into today's cause celebre.

There goes that damn right wing attack machine again alerting Al Jezeera - the middle east voice to the Arab population. Of course, they don't monitor CNN, Reuters etc. What a stretch!

Which makes the Al Jazeera complaint a red herring

The complaint does not center on the method by which Al Jazeera heard Durbin's remarks, but that they thought them so useful for their own anti-American program that they made a big deal of them.
