So a cow not giving milk to the very nice dairy farmer like yourself would quickly revert to just producing enough for her calf.

I see, the last 50 years of AI and matched matings that have produced this animal of today will go away upon return to supplying only enough for her calf if she just isn't milked. Your funny, truly hilarious.

Your only hope is to milk out their present lactation without breeding them back and drying them out to at that point live out their life in your utopia.

What are you going to do with all the bulls, steer them out? Isn't that rather cruel cutting their nuts off? Cause if you don't that cow will get bred I don't care if there is 80 acres and 5 fences between them. Nothing more romantic then a wild eyed bull going after a cow in heat. A real thing of beauty. Almost as much fun to watch as 5 or 6 bulls all wanting the same cow.
