"We went to war because we were attacked" is ambiguous. Could mean Afghanistan, and if so, true.

The whole Iraq/terrorist/WMD thing is too screwy to parse. "Our troops are fighting these terrorists in Iraq so you will not have to face them here at home." Huh? Talk about taking lemons and making them into lemonade.

Coincidentally (sort of) I just got "The Fog of War" in the mail from Netflix. Think I'll go watch it. Maybe McNamara learned something from Vietnam that could be useful.

Don't you long term supporters ever have doubts?

Don't you long term doubters ever support the government?

Maybe I should start posting some of the "other side?

If you want to post the "other side," go start your own liberal thread. Read the header to see how this one works.

I'll start giving the other side a listen when they start making sense and stop replaying over and over and over again the John F. Kennedy story.

Talk about hero worship. It's really nauseating.

Didn't know that Senator Robert Byrd was convicted ...yet....and now the South has finally convicted a KKK man for doing what, at the time, was considered by many to be the "right thing" to do
