Ted, In fact, since WW II, it seems America has become more warlike.

Do you know how many Americans died in WWII? More than all of the following wars combined.

America has definitely become less warlike since WWII. Even comparisons to Vietnam fall way short.

The definition of warlike straight from Websters'......please note it says nothing about how many American soldiers were killed during WW II:

Main Entry: war·like
Pronunciation: 'wor-"lIk
Function: adjective
1 obsolete : ready for war : equipped to fight
2 : fit for, disposed to, or fond of war : BELLICOSE

3 : of, relating to, or useful in war
4 : befitting or characteristic of war or a soldier
