For those who see U.S. news as tilted to the Right, the good news is that wealthy Left funders are beginning to earmark more money for media. The bad news is that little of the money is going into the kind of media infrastructure that could restore a balance...

The odd thing about the reactions to the DSM are, as I understand it:

1. The TimesUK is owned by Rupert Murdoch. Apparently they are the only ones in the UK going after this story. They've kept it alive. Is it because Murdoch hates Blair so much that he doesn't mind plastering Bush at the same time?

2. The media reaction to the DSM is coming, not just from the right, but in the form of Rich of the NYTimes and Kinsley. They are both saying, we knew this, so what...or words to that effect.
