Doug,

By placeholder for galaxy I meant that they have yet to come out with a home grown Opteron solution and this is the only system they have released thus far. The underlying message is here you go, more to follow later.

As far as the Galaxy launch, why does it take Kealia 2 years to come up with a design. In the meantime, IBM and HP have created home grown designs.

That is the latest it could happen, but the phrase was "within 6 months", i.e. H205, and I would guess that some models will be sooner than others. My WAG at this point is September for the first one.

Hope you are right. I'm extremely disappointed in SUN. I was hoping for almost 6 months of a complete Galaxy line this year. Should have known though. Perhaps this x86 business is just too fast moving for them. I hope Galaxy is half as good as the hype Sun will give it.
