Poppycock. Look how many places Al Qaeda is fighting. All the borders of Islam are bloody. Checnya, Kashmir, the Phillipines, Thailand, etc, etc. Al Qaeda won't leave while a Shia (= infidel) dominated Iraqi government remains. Look a bit closer at the places you listed. They have muslim minorities that want more independence or self governance. How's Al Qaeda doing in Iran? In the meantime, we should concentrate on suppying martyrdom to those who want it. That's the approach of the last few years. How has it worked? They'll be another 80 dead this month. What about next month? A change in approach is coming, of that I am quite certain.
