You apparently have not read the recently released memoirs of Ho Chi Ming (I think it was his if not it was General Gap) anyhow they say that they were just about to agree to a peaceful settlement after the TET disaster but to their AMAZEMENT the American press and people were calling a huge success for America a DEFEAT so they kept on. The battle in S. Viet. was for Asia, the battle in Iraq is for the World. Personally, I think Iraq is far more important to us and the world the Vietnam was. jdn
