The thing is, AJ, that B waves can make new highs, so the same count on AMD and the COMPX is perfectly fine. It coulda been 5 up that made a bare new high, but it could just as easily have been a B of 4 (or B of 2!). And since the NDX is supposed to be the dominant one... and it didn't get that possible 5 up... it ads credence to that 2106 being a B top, imo.

In this case, we'll likely know by the weekend. In the big bull scenario, we rally like a mofo after the Fed.

Your scenario for the COMP makes sense to me and is very possible, I will keep an eye. That scenario effectively means jell-o up for a while and then another dump..at least

However take a look at the $GSO daily and tell me what you see (too lazy to post another chart). I have keyed off that chart many times with success and I see a clear a-b-c correction there. As such I think the COMP simply made an irregular (B) high.
