Me too....But then again, if you really love some of the old things, you should keep them. Make sure if you have kids, they know what you want done with these special pieces if they don't treasure them as you do...I have some of those kinds of things...In fact, lots of them. My chore in the next few years is to make separate notes for these items. Some will go to a museum if the kids, or their kids, or other relatives don't want them. Some of my papers (I do genealogy as a 30+ year hobby) might go to a University and/or Historical society or two....

You have some things that a local historical society or museum might really want to have...

But I agree....hiring an organizer is something that we might do after we've made at least one or two passes on this stuff ourselves....
