I'd suggest you go back this thread and read again what I claimed instead of (mis)interpreting it.

I never said it cannot be done. It just cannot be done efficient enough to be competitive for K8, which was not designed with Horus-type topology in mind, in particular in its memory architecture.

I am happy to know Rich is now working at AMD to help developing a memory architecture for next generation products which allows such topology efficiently.
