Considering the current climate, I truly believe the democrats are hoping Iran can wait so they can run a pro-war "I'll do it right-let's take out Iran" candidate in 2008... I believe the Iranians will test their nuke before 2008 though. I hope the targeting parameters are already set in our weapons, which should be launched the minute after we confirm Iran tested a nuke. The only problem I see as I have posted before is the Russian casualties at Bushehr. Good luck on getting the libs to answer..... fwiw
