CB,

I understand that as a lawyer and officer of the court you hold the law to a high standard and that you hold the United States to even higher standards. However, your hysteria over potential and alleged abuses at Gitmo or elsewhere during this war is way over the top.

What the legal eagles and others who oppose Gitmo have not done is propose a reasonable alternative. This is war, these are prisoners of war - but they do not wear uniforms or owe allegiance to any nation state - and therefore do not fit any general definition of a Geneva Convention subscribed country POW.

The fact that so few have been convicted in Europe using the methods of law enforcement bears out this concern.

How is it going in Serbia, Bosnia and Rwanda? Many convictions? And how many years has it been?

Constructive criticism would offer alternatives. What’s yours?

John

Whatever it is you're drinking, maybe I should have some "rant juice" too.... That rant is so convoluted, it's just amazing, as they say.

Maybe you think that way, but I sure don't. It's foreign to anything I think, feel, or said. Maybe if one can't state their case, they can try to baffle with bullsh*t! Or something.
