No candidate without a strong GOD AND COUNTRY image will even come close to the Republican presidential nomination for the foreseeable future. Mad Cow is washed up and knows it. "RUDY!!!" knows that, without running Satan out of the Senate next year, he is fated to be a permanent nobody. Frist may have already proved his inability to lead. GOD AND COUNTRY is the only way to distinguish oneself from the Democrat domestic enemy, or thier heros, the subhuman Islamic enemy. Watch it closely between now and 2008...

Or, as an alternative, Bush decides to FIRE the Senate for malfeasance, by appointing judges during recesses and then rotating them whenever necessary as their time runs out. The concrete deal? ELIMINATE the phony filibuster and do your job, or you'll never see another nominee. Watching Kennedy, Smilin' Joe, and Leahy foam at the mouth (their only trick) would be worth it. Label them all "daschles" for 2006...
