LOL.. Yesterday Gonzalez was the guy, now he's not conservative enough. Good to see you are still listening closely to the rightwing cheerleaders, and that you have learned their latest chant.

It's doubtful Bush will make any concessions to the domestic enemy on this, though I still like the idea of revolving recess appointments...

The error most presidents have made in the past is saying, "I GOTTA get the vacancy filled."

The case for that has never been made, and the domestic enemy's obstruction may have finally laid that silly idea to rest.

The best cure for a public that has been weened on the idea that all life revolves around judicial tyranny, and that our thinking should be controlled by panels of un-elected lawyers, is an empty judiciary.

The second best is a judiciary that is TERM LIMITED one way or another. Revolving recess appointments brings about a version of the latter system, and returns the question of structuring the judiciary BACK into presidential politics where it was intended to be.

Imagine Satan trying to run around the issue of the kind of baby-killing judges she'd recess-appoint if elected.

Of course, the Senate could always get themselves out of that jail-by abolishing the filibuster. The Mad Cow may be a total bastard, but he's NEVER been hard to outsmart...
