Bush's environmental policies are indefensible, but expected from two oil execs allied with all the big polluters, plus a toxic chemical lobbyist Delay heading congress.

Still, Bush lied in 2000 saying he wanted to be the "environmental president". Instead, he is the worst environmental president in modern times.

Remember the first week Bush was president? He did three things I remember which show his true priorities, he conpletely rejected Kyoto, announced big funding for SDI and called for relaxed standards for cyanide in drinking water.

SDI is a completely useless black hole where we throw money in. It has swallowed up tens of billions and isn't even close to working. In fact, it may never work.
